If you would be interested in volunteering your time at the Killingworth Library please call Tammy Eustis at 663-2000.	The Killingworth Library relies on donations from the community. These may come through various sources: the annual fund drive, the endowment fund, our annual John P. Hine Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament, book sales, and volunteerism. Killingworth Library Board of Directors 2010 Objectives 1. Raise 29.4% ($87,564) of Killingworth Library's total annual operating revenue in FY2010-11 through year-round event-driven fundraising, grants, and other income producing activity. 2. Expand fundraising initiatives and opportunities for individuals, businesses, and organizations to support the Killingworth Library. 3. Boost visibility of Killingworth Library programs and initiatives for children and adults through local media, promotional material, library website, and electronic communication to expand community use and participation. 4. Confirm Killingworth Library's bylaws legally comply with state and federal laws. 5. Ensure Killingworth Library's multimedia capabilities stay current within one to two years of the latest technology to best serve the community 6. Increase community involvement on the Killingworth Library Association's board of directors and committees to strengthen the leadership pipeline, spread the volunteer load, and expand personal vested interest in the success and solvency of the library. 7. Expand library programming to increase cultural and educational opportunities for patrons of all ages. 8. Increase the percentage of Killingworth residents who have library cards. We are looking for interested, motivated people to join our library board of directors!
